-First power generation business in the United States

The Birdsboro Power Plant, which utilizes a combined-cycle generating system equipped with the state-of-art gas steam turbines , is currently under construction in Pennsylvania, United States. We are participating in this project with Ares EIF Management, LLC, Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. and Sojitz Corporation.

With the latest highly efficient turbine technology, the Birdsboro Power Plant will achieve the consistent satisfying performance as a strong energy supplier to the northeastern United States within the PJM※ region, North America’s largest wholesale electricity market.

※ PJM Interconnection LLC is a regional transmission organization(RTO) and covers all or part of 13 states in the northeast area including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland which are the original members, and now District of Columbia as well.
